EU’s Top Court Upholds $14 Billion Apple Tax Bill in Irish Benefits Case

The European Union’s top court upheld an order for Ireland to recoup up to $14.4 plus interest in taxes from Apple, a victory for EU competition officials in their efforts to rein in alleged abuses by big tech.
